Learning outcomes |
The course is through work in seminars familiar with the basic principles of analysis of media discourse. The course is divided into two basic parts: the first, students learn through active participation with the theme of the issue and analysis of media discourse and in the second part will work on the development of analytical studies, realized through discourse analysis
Demonstrate their understanding of contemporary academic literature on the topics discussed in the class and application of media science methods when analyzing current cultural and media issues. |

Assessment methods and criteria |
Oral exam
1) successful completion of entrance test 2) ongoing training for each seminar (reading the given text presentation + excerpt) 3) Seminar 3, 4, 5 and 6 - the preparation of the relevant excerpt for the other seminar participants 4) development of analytical studies, as required by the seminar 5) active participation in seminars 6) at least 80% attendance |
