Course content
|
Within the theoretical part of the subject, students familiarize with the basic regularities of the applied creation aesthetics, history and contemporaneousness of one of the selected disciplines. Within the practical part, upon working with a concrete material, they should discover its specific features and expression possibilities for creation, art education and development of their own as well as children's creativity.

Learning outcomes
|
Getting acquainted with the basic regularities of the applied creation. Understanding the specific material properties through experiments and craft skills with a view to the selected discipline - ceramics, textile, metal.
Mastering basic knowledge of the applied art student can contribute to the development of his aesthetic sense in children. Through their work with a particular material is able to explore its expressive possibilities to develop their own creativity and the creative potential and their children.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of history in contemporary visual arts.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog, Seminar Work
Seminar work in the field of applied art. Own practical work with textile material, accompanied by photographs.
