Course content
|
Basic exercises devoted to developing the creative work with colour and theme. Practical tests of painting techniques and discussions about examples of painting artwork from the history of art.

Learning outcomes
|
Getting acquainted with the principles of colour theory and selected classic and combined painting techniques. Practical exercises in realistic and imaginative painting, application of exploring procedures in developing sensibility, imagination, creative thinking and painting skills of the students.
Basic overview of the history of painting, painting techniques and their application.

|
Interest in art, especially painting, and its use for teaching practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)
Active participation in seminars; set of drawings on the ordered theme, given paper, oral exam.
