Course content
The aim of the course is to teach students to reflect on the current problems of society in relation to education concerning the relationship of the culturally historical and natural heritage of the region. In addition, to familiarize future museum educators with the objectives of the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and in the context of museum education implemented on regional soil, or natural history museums. Education related to regional heritage and helping to create a value system in the lives of students and playing an important role in the formative area. The goal is for students to be familiarized with the characteristics and importance of education related to regional heritage, as well as actively involve them in co-operation with specific heritage institutions, particularly with regional museums (used when processing portfolios and projects, or a program for the museum). A major theme of the discipline is cooperation between museums and schools and its assumptions. The work in the seminars will be based on the activities and cooperation of the students.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - reflect the current problems of society in relation to education in relation to the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the region, - know the goals and contents of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education, - actively engage in cooperation with specific memory institutions, especially regional museums, - use the regional museum in the processing of portfolios and projects, event. program for the museum, - be able to actively cooperate and develop cooperation between the museum and the school.
After completing the course, students should be able to use the potential of local history museums to create their own educational programs.

Interest in regional heritage issues.
