Course content

Introduction to study of art education pedagogy, setting of seminar works. Course and scientific basis of the creative pedagogy. Analysis of developmental phases of the children's art expression and its attributes. Position of the art education within the Frame educational programme for educational area. Art and culture. Contemporary educational trends regarding the art education and their representatives. Attributes and specialities of the children's art expression. Kinds and organization of creative activities.

Learning outcomes
|
Getting acquainted with the concept, principles and objectives related to the art education, developmental phases and attributes of the children's creative expression and creative typology. Practical didactic preparation of students for the teaching profession, getting acquainted with the contemporary concept of art education, principles and methods of teaching the art education, analyses of children's artworks, communication with the artwork, art lines, art education diagnostic options.
Artistically mastered basic teaching skills useful in teaching art education in kindergarten.
