Experimentation and traditional folk techniques, material and its story.Specific properties of textile material; Textiles and its historical contexts.The symbolic role of textiles in history and in the present. Tapestry transformation and textile art; Important personalities of Czech and world textile art of the second half of the 20thcentury; Working with fibre, experimentation and traditional folk techniques; Textiles and body, textiles and environment, textiles and story; Sensory values of textiles.

Rozvíjet smyslovou citlivosti k materiálu, poznávat specifické vlastnosti textilu, jeho smyslovéa vizuální hodnoty a objevovat jeho výrazové možnosti. Zvládnout některé jednoduché předtkalcovské techniky, techniku goblénového tkaní a další textilní techniky- voskovou batiku, aplikaci, výšivku. Rozvíjet tvořivý přístup k textilnímu materiálu prostřednictvím hry a experimentu a vytvořit si tak předpoklady pro rozvíjení kreativity prostřednictvím práce s textilem. Chápat prostorové možností textilu a jejich využití při torbě objektu a textilní plastiky. Aplikovat svou osobní zkušenost do pedagogické práce s dětmi a iniciovat jejich tvořivost
