Course content
|
The aim of the course is to prepare students to work with different target groups of museum visitors, especially with individuals with special educational needs. Graduates should be prepared for communication and educational activities with handicapped persons, children of foreigners and ethnic minorities. Within the scope of the discipline students are familiarized with various types of handicaps, as well as with the specifics of ethnic and other minorities in the Czech Republic. In addition they will be able understand the basic concepts of special education and multicultural education. They will learn the basics of communication with these groups with regard to future museum educator qualifications. Emphasis will be placed on professional interpretation of the behavior of students and people with regard to their special educational needs, their origin, socio-cultural environment and adapting a project to these pupils and people. In order to consolidate the lessons learned during teaching practice in the museum, according to the possibilities of the museum, animations can be prepared for a select group of students with regard to the aforementioned special educational needs. Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog, Seminar Work
