Course content
|
Free drawing on an own theme: from the sketch to the implementation, a survey into both traditional and contemporary materials and techniques, arranging of the artifacts to sequences and series, the relationship between the object and its circumstances. Separate development of the chosen subject, variant - finding connections in the context of contemporary art, literature, philosophy, psychology. The continuation of the work with the own theme, psychological prerequisites and the social context of the creative work, the structure of the relationship between the image and the text. Developing of an own topic, current trends in the visual arts, new media in the drawing, the language of the work of art and visual communication. Introductory information about the psychological aspects of the creative process and on the experiential drawing. The practical application of some of the experiential forms of creation (inner work, body work, drumming, shared work in a small group, etc.).

Learning outcomes
|
After completion of the course students should be able to: define the concept of illusion and non-illusion work of art; develop and present their own art work on the basis of the individual concept; present their individual view of the experiential aspects of the visual arts.
After completion of the course, students will be able to apply the acquired skills and abilities in their practical artistic creations.

Prerequisites
|
Basic training in drawing (passing of the drawings in the bachelor's degree studies), interest in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
Regular art work in the seminars, the development of the creative process outside of teaching (50%). Regular participation in seminars (40%). Consultations of own free work with the teacher (10%). An overview of the current art events in the region
