Course content
|
Presentation of the semestral theme, reading of the related literature, critical analysis of thematically similar works, work on the own setting concept, discussions and consultations on the workflow, presentation of the final work.

Learning outcomes
|
Project and realization of own (or assigned) theme emphasizing synthetic use of classical and new media (drawing, painting, photo, video, installation, performance, happening). Development of conceptual thinking. Continuing in individual development of the theme, reflection of practical works in the theoretical area. Relations in context of contemporary art, interdisciplinary overlap (to philosophy, psychology, music and literature). Individual work using intermedial expression forms. Documentation of the work, presentation of the final version (book, installation, video projection, etc.).
Ability for an individual creative work, critical reflection in frames of contemporary art and actual trends in art education.

Theoretical and practical ability of creative work using classical and new media as well.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)
Readiness for a critical discussion, active behaviour, creativity. Independent work. Presentation and defence of the final work.
