Course content |
1. Extension ideas about the current free textile art and its thematic richness. 2. Relationship textiles and new media. 3. The symbolic role of textiles. 4. Familiarization with the new procedures and textile techniques. 5. Realization separate project - to express the textile resources to current problems currently, social and personal tématům.Textilní work may have the character as well as larger thumbnails implementation, surface or work space, with possible overlaps into action and intermediate tvorby.Projekt must include a theoretical reflection on the artistic problem of s own creative realization and active problem solving in the arts. The independent project continues the previous understanding of textile art production. Themes result from the area inspired by applied creation /clothing, tapestry, textile in architecture/ as well as contemporary world and enable the student to express his/her opinion as regards the actual present problems and visual art by textile means. The textile work can be a miniature as well as larger realization, planar or spatial work, possibly overlapping into action and intermedial production. The project must cover theoretic reflection of the artistic problem connected with the own visual realization and active solution to the problem as a part of the art education.

The objective concerns addressing an art task of a more difficult nature in close relation to the area of art and art education. The emphasis is placed on textile solution to the problem - fibre, surface, space. The range of selected themes is based on art as well as on extra-artistic reality. The product may concern an object of utility value or free expression resulting in an object, sculpture or concept overlapping into action and intermedial works. The project must cover theoretic reflection of the chosen problem, own artistic realization and active solution to the problem as part of the art education.
Students should be capable of a creative approach to the textile material, textile solutions to work in the area of ??space in the traditional textile techniques and experiment with, to the perception of sensory qualities of textiles and textiles for a new perspective as the basis for the free formation of its contextual and symbolic positions. |
Prerequisites |
A prerequisite is the mastery of basic textile techniques and craft skills, understanding of the expressive possibilities of textile materials and basic orientation in the field of textile production in history and in contemporary textile art and free.

Mark, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Seminar Work
Final work - creative artwork. Work presentation. Written commentary on the work. High-quality photo-documentation to the text also on CD. Regular consultations. |
