Course content
|
The discipline introduces museums and galleries as modern educational institutions for all age categories of visitors. During seminars, the students get acquainted with so called animations. They find their meaning, typology and structure. Theoretical part of seminars will be completed with practical demonstrations of animation programmes in MUO.

Learning outcomes
|
Introduction to the development of aesthetic educational movement with respect to current possibilities and forms of art mediation. Analysis of works of art. Forms, possibilities and conditions of work of art interpretation. Practical part: gallery and extra-gallery animation using various methods of communication with art works, elaboration of animation documents.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Preparation or realization of the gallery animation in the partner cultural institution according to own scenario utilizing own author tools (animation sheets and artefacts). Participation in teaching 80%.
