Topics will be selected considering curriculum and strategy documents of the Czech school system (RVP ZV, Strategy 2030+) and considering the actual situation in a school environment. Therefore, the course itself will be experimentally guided. Students will demonstrate work with the selected themes of human rights in the Czech Republic and the world (migration, redefinition of rape, equality of rights LGBTQ, freedom of expression). Topics will be introduced to students in theory. Students will get knowledge to connect stories of real people and will get theoretical and teaching knowledge. Students will be able to use the activities and approaches in their future practice. They will get access to resources for their teaching preparation. Students will get advice and tips on supporting active citizenship at schools from teachers and non-profit organizations. Reflection and sharing will be used as a tool to provide this advice.
