Course content
|
Introduction to basic terminology, internet search engines, browsers, searching a chosen topic from several sources, critical approach to information, internet sources, web pages of institutions, associations, e-zines and their overlaps. Further education options - courses, training, projects - internet sources- Graphics editors - design and production of one's own materials -MS PowerPoint - materials design and production- presentation hardware and software, working with interactive whiteboard, data projector etc.- working with a digital camera, digital photo editing

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar will focus on both the theoretical and especially the practical uses of computer technology, the internet, multimedia, and film and audio projections in social science studies. During the seminar, students will be introduced to the basic terms, basic procedures for searching and processing information, internet pages that enlarge knowledge of individual social sciences (political science, sociology, history, law), the use of the internet and multimedia in their studies, creating educational material in MS Power Point.
