Sokrates, Platon, Aristoteles, Philosophy in the period of renaissance and humanism, E. Rotterdamsky, F. Bacon.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
Students will learn about basic topics and personalities, who significantly contributed to the development of philosophical and political thought from antiquity to the Renaissance period. After undertaking of this subject students should be able to define the meaning of ancient and medieval philosophy, to explain principles and rules of renaissance thinking, to analyse basic philosophic texts of ancient, medieval and renaissance philosophy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Seminar Work

Following contact teaching student writes a seminar paper of the eight parties as a basis for the colloquium. It will also commission a paper in the range of six parties which will be given to the views of the person selected from ancient, medieval or Renaissance philosophy. Making paper and seminar papers for the colloquium will be consulted with the teacher in the context of contact teaching. Part of the preparation for the colloquium will study of the literature and methodological materials in philosophy.
