Course content
Historical development of economics.Homo oeconomicus.Economic way of thinking.Contemporary schools of economics.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The subject introduces the students to various schools of economics, to the historical development of the discipline - mercantilism, classical economics, mainstream neoclassical economics, Keynesianism and contemporary trends. Specialist terminology, e.g. economic thinking, economic literacy, business, consumer, management, marketing etc., will be dealt with.

Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio

Students will be assigned to work out and present one specialist topic.There is a written examination.
