Course content
|
Empiricism and rationalism and its representatives. Enlightenment philosophy. German philosophy: Kant, Fichte, Schelling, Hegel. Positivism, materialism and Marxism .. Schopenhauer, Kierkegaard and Nietzsche. The main philosophical trends of the 20th century. The new ontology, philosophy of existence. The question of being in Heidegger. Critical rationalism. Phenomenology, hermeneutics.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will learn about basic topics and personalities, who significantly contributed to the development of philosophical thought of the 20th and beginning of the 21st century. After completing the course, students should be able to: "Demonstrating knowledge and orientation in modern philosophy "Explain the basic philosophical concepts that were used in the various philosophical systems "Characterize and analyze different philosophical directions "Explain the meaning of various philosophical thinkers for the development of the European and global thinking

The underlying assumption is understanding the fundamental problems of the history of ancient, medieval and modern philosophy

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Active participation in lessons. Seminary work necessary for the credit before the test.
