The seminary is concentrated on explanation of basic notions of political science, ideologies, systems.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar gives basic knowledge and survey of the subject of the political science. Individual topics are also connected with knowledge and problems of didactics of the subjects. Discussed topics: 1. Liberalism. Conservatism. Democracy: areas of political practice. 2. The theory of capitalism, the theory of civil society in the conception of Marx and Engels. Lenin: The theory of revolution, theories of R. Luxemburg, Trockij and the phenomenon of Trockism. The theory and practice of the so called democratic socialism. 3. Political systems - basic survey. 4. Political systems of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 5. Constitution, parliamentary system, electoral systems, general election. 6. Political parties, interest organizations. 7. Religion and politics. 8. Transformation of political systems.
Competence in the scape of hte subject.

Seminar Work
Active 100% participation in the seminar, elaboration and presentation of seminar thesis.
