The course is a core subject forming the third pillar of the study programme, focusing on the development of professional skills and general abilities of the student, specifically on the student's ability to present the acquired knowledge and skills in a scientific text or in a professional scientific forum. The course is designed as a four-semester course, with the demands of student performance in the course increasing as the semesters progress. The course is designed for students specializing in in the Field of Constitutional Law. The second semester is already fully focused on the student's ability to present the results of his/her scientific research at a scientific conference. During the semester, the student is required to choose a topic for his/her scientific paper (identify the problem to be solved) in collaboration with his/her lecturer and to prepare this scientific paper in such a way that it is eligible for presentation at a scientific conference (ability to present the solution found to the chosen problem). Active participation in the conference includes the written version of the paper and its publication in the conference proceedings or in another form with regard to the conference output (article in a thematically focused journal issue). In the case that the conference proceedings will not be prepared, this obligation may exceptionally be waived in agreement with the lecturer. At the same time, the student will continue to prepare his/her dissertation during this semester. In order to successfully complete the course, the student is required to prepare and submit to the lecturer a detailed dissertation of at least 10 standard pages.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge necessary to understand the features of law.
