The course represents the core subject of the second pillar of the study programme focused primarily on the development and enhancement of the student's knowledge in the specialization Constitutional Law. The course is designed as a four-semester course. The goal of the course is to present the current state of one's research during the second and third year of study at regular meetings during the semester with other Ph.D. students and members of the department, or to present a selected constitutional law problem (usually related to the dissertation being prepared) and to defend one's conclusions and results in a discussion with colleagues. The goal of the seminar is to improve argumentation skills, work with case law, legal regulations and professional literature, and the ability to formulate one's own theses, arguments and conclusions on constitutional law issues. The questions, comments, or the discussion itself are then intended to serve as important feedback for the Ph.D. student both in terms of dissertation preparation and in terms of knowledge, methodological procedures, and argumentation skills in the field of constitutional law.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge necessary to understand the features of law.
