Course content
|
The course introduces students to the basics of using a personal computer, with technical resources (components) of personal computers (hardware and software). Students will also acquire a lot of information about the history of the development of computer technology.

Learning outcomes
|
The course introduces students to the basics of using a personal computer, with technical resources (components) of personal computers (hardware and software). Students will also acquire a lot of information about the history of the development of computer technology.
On completion of the course, students should be able to: define basic terms used in IT and explain relations between them; be familiar with basic structure of computer networks, and with computer hardware and software.
