Multimedia in general. Multimedia learning programmes. Principle of computer graphics. Graphic programmes and their classification. Sound recording. Characteristics of common graphic programmes. Basic operation of CorelDraw and ZonerCallisto (logo design, leaflet creation, etc.) Scanning, OCR.

The course aims at providing students with enough information and impulses for effective use of mutimedia and graphic vector and raster programmes. Attention is paid to digital photography. After the course, students should be able to create and maintain a simple graphic and sound studio.
