Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce the basic characteristics of the social doctrine of the Church as theological discipline, basic terminology and sources, basic principles and historical context of its development in relation to social encyclicals. The course will introduce the Compendium of Social Doctrine of the Church and introduce it to the context of contemporary Czech society.
Students will be able to specify the basic starting points of the Catholic social doctrine of the Church and to relate them to the context of social problems.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Seminar Work
Preparation and presentation of a paper on a selected topic in the range of 3-5 pages.
