1. Shopping, time expressions. 2. Application and its formal attributes. 3. Post office, writing a letter, filling forms, genitive of masculine nouns. 4. Personal characteristics, outer and inner characteristic of parents and friends. 5. Days of the week, working days, weekend. 6. - 7. Names of the months, seasons of the year, further declension of nouns. 8. Housing, flat, Ukrainian surnames. 9. - 10. Telling a story, Ukrainian accents, prepositions. 11. - 12. The imperative in Ukrainian, basic orthography. 13. Credit test.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed for lower-intermediate learners of Ukrainian, the aim is to broaden the vocabulary, conversational aptitude and the knowledge of grammar which is laid out in 7th - 13th lessons in the textbook Ukrajinština vážně i vesele. All the new grammatical phenomena is illustrated in the texts we will analyze. We focus on the correct pronunciation and flexion of nouns and verbs. We shall also read and interpret a couple of texts (mostly adapted) and dialogues. Students will write also essays and practise their listening skills.
Students will learn the vocabulary and grammar of all the above-mentioned lessons from the textbook by Anderš, J.: Ukrajinština vážně i vesele. Olomouc 2002, but we shall also deal with other texts and textbooks. Students will be able to write simple correct texts about various topics.

Prerequisites
|
The wish to study the Ukrainian language, knowledge of Czech of at least C1 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
