Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to improve the translation of professional texts from Ukrainian into English and vice versa The emphasis is on understanding the text, its analysis and subsequent translation of individual sentence segments. Attention is paid to the development of vocabulary/phraseology/professional terminology...
Ability to analyze scientific text with regard to the phenomena of morpho-syntactic plan with emphasis on the comparison with Czech.

Prerequisites
|
improving language proficiency, analytical and translation skills, and finding appropriate technical or literary translation solutions, depending on the nature of the text - creating source materials in Ukrainian based on Ukrainian templates - translating and preparing appropriate documents in Czech - preparing a document in Ukrainian (translation from Czech to Ukrainian)
