Course content

The course is divided into six lessons: 1. Ethical framework of social work 2. Ethical dilemmas 3. The principle of double effect 4. Reservation of conscience 5. Ethical dilemmas in relation to the client 6. Ethical dilemmas in relation to the organization and colleagues It is necessary to work with the learning management system NEO during the study.

The student will gain insight into the dilemmas of a social worker in everyday work with the client, the need for self-knowledge and selection of appropriate methods in solving crisis situations according to the client's needs.
After completing the course, you will be able to: - identify the ethical rules that a social worker must follow and apply these rules in a specific situation - identify ethical dilemmas - classify strategies for managing ethical dilemmas - apply the principle of double effect - verify the applicability of the conscientious objection
