1. The student presents the diploma thesis. 2. The student´s supervisor and the thesis reader present their opinions. 3. The student comments on the expert opinions. 4. Discussion.

Learning outcomes
|
The student presents his/her Diploma thesis to a board of Department teachers, listens to the teachers´ reviews, comments on the teachers´ opinions and discusses the questionable issues in public. Thus, the student defends the Diploma thesis and demonstrates the ability to present as well as discuss the given topic.
Ability to present and defend one´s scholarly issue in academic public.

Prerequisites
|
Completion of all the Mgr. study duties (completion of credit tests, qualifying exams, exams), submitting the Diploma thesis and receiving at least one positive expert review.

|
Student performance
Defence of a Mgr. diploma thesis following the guidelines of the Dpt. of Slavic studies.
