Learning outcomes

The Seminar introduces the students to the methodology of analysis of literary texts which arose in an entirely different cultural code. Such texts require an utterly different approach to the text analysis compared to the methods applied for modern European literature.
Prerequisites
A good knowledge of the history of Old Russian litterature and of the history of Russian medieval culture.

Oral exam

active participation, max. 2 absences - writing a seminary paper - passing the oral exam
