The sub-areas of stylistic interest include in particular the following: the current state and stylistic tendencies of modern Czech and Russian (i.e. universal and specific phenomena in Russian and Czech), the functional conception of stylistics, the situation of the national language - stratification, etc. The discipline is conceived as a lecture by the guarantor followed by a broader discussion of the seminar participants on pre-specified questions and presentation of individually prepared outputs on partial pre-specified topics with discussion.
