Learning outcomes
|
With reference to the theoretical elements in General and Comparative linguistics and to Structural Linguistics, the current discipline makes a synthesis of both and provides further commentaries on the contemporary situation of standard Russian. Dynamic approach to the system and its internal structure is applied, current situation of all the levels of the language system is considered including the analysis and interpretation of changes taking place in the so-called ?post-perestojka? period (i.e. after 1985). Apart from the reference sources (monographies, journals - Russkaja rech, Otechestvennyje zapiski, Russkij jazyk za rubezhom etc.), rich internet sources are also used (focused primarily on the peculiarities of contemporary Russian for special purposes).
Information of the latest tendencies and changes in Russian in all the language levels with respect to the current tendencies in modern Czech.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of Russian language corresponding at least to C1 level. In case of foreign students, corresponding knowledge of Czech language. Knowledge of general linguistics as well as partial linguistic disciplines corresponding to the level of Mgr. study od Russian philology at Czech university. General knowledge of the issues in humanities and social sciences.
