Course content
1. Choosing a topic for the final thesis 2. Identifying problems when writing a bachelor's thesis and formulating the objective(s) when writing a master's thesis 3. Choosing a methodology and the ability to apply it 4. Working with professional literature and professional sources of information 5. Citation and scientific ethics 6. Stylistic level of the thesis 7. Comprehensive critical analysis of a selected thesis 8. - 9. Oral presentation of one's own work 10. - 12. Review of scientific work

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)
Learning outcomes
The course systematically works with methods of research, introduces students to electronic resources, informs about searching for information of a specific request, deals with the proceeding of information. The course focuses on the elaboration of the diploma thesis and guides the students to the following areas: - selection of the topic of the final thesis, understanding the topic, - problem identification, goal formulation (goals), - finding methods of solution and the capability of their application, - working with professional literature and professional sources of information, - application of the theoretical knowledge acquired during study, - the contribution of knowledge, opinions and opinions on the subject being processed, - quality formal and stylistic level of the final thesis, - processing, evaluation and interpretation of results.
By completing the course, students will acquire the competences to produce a quality thesis in terms of form and professional style.
Prerequisites
Previous experience with writing a bachelor's thesis.

Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work

- active participation in seminars (max. 2 absences) - completion of all assigned tasks during the semester and final thesis
