Russian-Czech relations.

Learning outcomes
|
This course follows the Russian Realia 1 and is further broadening the information about physical and socio-economical geography, demography and cultural life of present day Russia. We shall also focus on the modern history of Russia from the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russian state constitution, state symbols, and cultural habits.
Students will acquire an insight into the demographical, political and cultural life in Russian Federation.

Prerequisites
|
A practical knowledge of Russian, at least A2 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. Completing the course Russian Realia 1.

Written exam
Attendance, max. 2 absences Written or oral assignments, active participation in discussion seminar paper (presentation) on a chosen topic (to be specified during the course) Passing the credit test
