Learning outcomes
|
The specialized course assumes the basic orientation of the student in the problems of administrative style in general, mastering the basic linguistic, stylistic and formal requirements of the letter as a genre of negotiation style and the purchase contract in Russian in comparison with English. The aim of the course is to broaden learners' knowledge of the nature of business in countries where Russian is used both officially and unofficially as one of the languages of communication. In addition to theoretical preparation, the seminar also includes practical exercises focusing on vocabulary in the field of international trade or legal terminology.
Students will be able to translate and compose all types of business letters and various types of contract from Russian to Czech and vice versa.

Prerequisites
|
A practical knowledge of Russian, at least B2 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages and understanding the Russian administrative style as required by the Bc study curriculum.
