Learning outcomes
This introductory course to the morphology of Russian language is further developing the knowledge gained from the language grammar exercises 1 and 2 and is dedicated to a practical outline of selected morphological phenomena in Russian grammar, the knowledge of which is a necessary condition for studying the theoretical Russian morphology. We shall deal mostly with a functional approach to language and we shall also confront Czech and Russian languages in order to focus on the possible interference. Apart from the orthographical, accentological and pardigmatical specific features of the parts of speech we shall deal with (defectiveness of paradigms), we shall also discuss the adequate translation of the categories and elements absent in Czech grammar.
Enhancing the language competence, understanding the selected morphological phenomena (see the syllabus) of the present day Russian language.
