This course follows up the previous course on grammar. We shall discuss subsequent parts of speech, the adjectives and their classification, declension, gradation, short forms and possessive types; pronouns and their morphologic classification and declension. We shall pay special attention to the declension of pronouns ?sam?, ?samyj?, ?etot?, ?tot?, ?ves? ?, the declension of indefinite and negative pronouns. We shall proceed to numerals as well ? the classification, grammar categories, declension of simple and compound numerals and their orthography, declension of the numerals with nouns and adjectives, expressing rough numbers and dates. During the exercises we shall consistently confront the Russian grammar with Czech grammar in order to avoid interference. We shall also consistently pay attention to the orthography, especially to the doubling of consonants and the difference between the particles ?ni? and ?ne?.
Students are able to decline correctly the adjectives, pronouns and numerals.
