1.-3. Housing, household. Pros and cons of having one?s own house or renting a flat. Russian hospitability. 4.-6. Shopping, shops and gifts. Warranty claim. Quality of goods and prises in Czech Republic and Russia. 7.-9. Hotel, pension, private accommodation. Services, babysitting, private tutoring, car repair shop. 10.-12. Means of communication, phone, internet, etc. The danger of PC addiction. 13. Credit test.

Learning outcomes
|
This is a follow-up course to the previous two conversational courses and is designed for intermediate learners of Russian language. The main attention is paid to communication, work with text and broadening the vocabulary. We shall work with authentic texts regarding various topics. Students are motivated to apply a creative approach to text and application of their communicative skills, they are asked to get prepared for the lessons at home and to form their own opinions. The course is held by a Russian lecturer.
An ability to talk about more advanced topics.

Prerequisites
|
A practical knowledge of Russian, at least A2 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. Completing the previous conversational and grammar courses.
