Creating presentations in MS PowerPoint Storing and compression of data. Adobe Acrobat & Portable Document File (PDF) Spreadsheet application MS Excel Creating a database in MS Access Introduction to bitmap graphics (work with scanner, digital icon, Adobe Photoshop) Storing digital data on CD-R and DVD-R, compilation in the programme Nero Burning ROM

Learning outcomes
This course on Information Technology consists of two courses, one in each semester. The course focuses on developing basic habits in work with IT on an advanced level. The first course IT 2 covers the following topic: see bellow.
Ability to work with PC on an advanced level.
Prerequisites
Students should be able to work with computer (MS Windows, function of the mouse, work with windows, understanding the options of the computer system) on the basic level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

- Active participation, max. 2 absences. - Preparing the assigned tasks at home, studying the assigned materials. - Submitting the assigned tasks. - Passing the credit test, i.e. to get 80 % out of 100 % (theoretical part - 30 %, practical part - 70 %).
