Course content
Grammar within linguistics. Russian alphabet and orthography. Principles of Russian orthography. Word formation and composition. Parts of speech - introductory remarks. Nouns and adjectives and their grammar cathegories. Declination. Comparison. Pronouns. Numerals. Verbs. Adverbs and predicatives. Prepositions and conjuctions. Particles. Interjections.

Learning outcomes
The course provides information on grammatical structure of Russian in comparison with Czech. It gives characteristics of particular linguistic fields and their basic concepts, principles of Russian orthography, explanation of parts of speech, stylistic characteristics of Russian on different language levels, grammatical and lexical distinctive features of Russian administrative and special style.
The students are supposed to improve their knowledge of Russian grammar, to enlareg their knowledge of grammar terms and notions, to have a general overview of parts of speech in Russian.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of Russian grammar at least on A2 level of the Common European Frame of Reference for Languages.

Written exam
