KSO/95DSJ Dissertation Seminar - Linguistics 10 credits. Credit test. In Czech, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian. Supervisor. 1. Definition of the research topic 2. Definition of methodology 3. Planning the paper's structure 4. Preparation of individual parts of the paper 5. Identification of an appropriate journal 6. Editing according to a journal style sheet 7. Submission of the paper 8. The course will cover the latest findings of Polish comparative methods in linguistic researches what should help the postgraduate students to work on the issue treated in their thesis. To acquire further skills in the literary theory: critical analysis of methodological approaches. Skills another capability - ability to define topic and methodology of a research paper - ability to plan a research paper - ability to edit a research paper - ability to communicate with a publisher of research papers

Continuous study of linguistics in the Slavonic context.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work
Active attendance, work on a given task followed by a presentation and discussion on a selected topic. Writing a paper under tutor supervision, selection of an appropriate journal, submission of the paper for a peer-review process, communication with the publisher.
