Learning outcomes
|
A student will become familiar with the most important issues related to different Polish regions. Information acquired in the class is intended to extend the program of the Polish life and institutions course. The content of the course develops sociocultural and linguistic competences of students. Particular topics in the classes are dedicated to issues concerning the culture, history, language and folklore of particular Polish regions. One of the main aims of the course is to trace the impact of the regional cultures on the Polish national culture.
Strengthening socio-cultural and linguistic competences. Expanding knowledge of the culture, history, language and folklore of different regions of Poland.

General information about Poland (geographical, historical, political and cultural). Recommended completion of the course Polish Realities.

Student performance
Active participation in seminars and lectures. 80% participation in lectures and seminars.
