Course content |
In this course, the focus is put on the current sociolinguistic methods in Polish, its findings and verification in particular communicative situations. The purpose of the course is to apply theoretical sociolinguistic issues in practice.

Learning outcomes |
The course puts focus on the essential features of Polish language in mass media. It provides an overview of differences between spoken Polish (radio and TV) and written Polish (press).
To be familiar with academic and popular journals, newspaper, TV programmes and the Internet. |
Prerequisites |
Very good knowledge of Polish in daily communication - differences in formal and informal situations.
