Course content
The course is aimed at presenting the most interesting movies from two areas of Polish cinema: - the most interesting short, animated and experimental films, - cult Polish feature comedies. These two themes regularly alternate. Each screening is preceded by a brief lecturer's introduction, putting the film in a broader context.

Basic knowledge of Polish language and culture.
Prerequisites
The basic orientation in the Polish film production.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Commentary analysis of two movies, 80% attendance.
