Course content
|
Translation approaches are mastered within the framework of the thematic wholes of politics, economics and the travel industry. An active mastery of the vocabulary as well as of typological differences between Czech and Polish is assumed.

Exercises are focussed on the forming of the skills of being able to analyze a text, understand its specifics and adequately transfer its content from the original to the target language and vice versa.

Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
Positive results of sectional written translations, 80% participation in lectures and seminars, submission of the final portfolio of translations after proofreading.
