Course content |
The practical language course aims at functional mastery of spoken and written Polish with respect to Polish background information. The principal activity is speaking on a given topic.

Learning outcomes |
The objective of this course is to help students to acquire the basic communication skills in the Polish language. The exercises within the framework of selected topics are focused on enriching vocabulary. Use of auditive and audiovisual materials is stimulative and motivating. Contact and Etiquette: getting to know, greetings, welcoming, invitation, demand, advice, proposal, agreement and disagreement. The basic communication topics: travelling abroad, accomodation.
Standard communication skills, knowledge of Polish grammar. |
Prerequisites |
Basic communication skills. The course is not intended for students whose native language is Polish and who are not studying the study programs of the Polish Section of the Department of Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts.
