- Basics of Polish grammar: Polish inflection, irregular forms, exceptions, communicative grammar, sentence structure, - Development of communication skills: basic communication topics, 2000 - 3000 words, - Basics of spelling and phonetics: knowledge of Polish pronunciation, rules of Polish spelling.

Lectures and seminars provide an overview of Polish grammar and students learn how to master basic language skills.

Basic communication skills. The course is not intended for students whose native language is Polish and who are not studying the study programs of the Polish Section of the Department of Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts.

Student performance
Regular and active attendance - 80%, two absences are permitted; fulfilment of all partial assessment tasks during the semester, independent study of Polish texts. |
