Course content
1. What is supervision. 2. Supervision in social work. 3. Goals of supervision. 4. Functions of supervision. 5. Methods and forms of supervision. 6. Ethical principles of supervision. 7. Options of the supervision contract. 8. Structure and content of the supervision contract. 9. Options and benefits of supervision. 10. Limits and threats of supervision. 11. Supervision as a part of social work as a profession. 12. Possible ways of further education in supervision.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Supervision is presented to be supportive for the professional growth of the students. In this course students gain theoretical knowledge about supervision and practical experience with supervision as a part of the social work profession and as a mean of systematic development of the expert competencies.
Skills to be developed: cooperation during contracting in supervision, finding situations (contracts) for supervision, working on contractual formulation under the supervisor's supervision, working on the contract under the supervisor's supervision, being open to feedback, discovering the utility of feedback for your own work.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Essay, Student performance

Obligatory presence in the tutorial, activity during the tutorial. The prerequisite for the oral colloquium is to fulfil all tasks in the e-learning system.
