Learning outcomes
|
The seminar is aimed at reading and interpretation of the key texts of the classics in theoretical sociology. Student will learn to understand the texts, to interpret them and to put them into the context of history of sociological theories.
Students understand the key texts of the theorists of sociology. Students interpret these texts. Students classify the texts in to the context of the history of sociological theories. Students compare the texts and argue their views.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of linguistic, Seminar Work
Students will receive a course credit for the presented paper and for active participation in the discussion at each seminar. 80% participation is necessary.
