Learning outcomes
The course aims at studying Africa from the perspective of social anthropology. It introduces the BA students of cultural anthropology into the issues of contemporary subSaharan Africa through the lens of social anthropology. The lecture will present basic research outcomes from the works of the key social anthropologist working on Africa.

Prerequisites
Good knowledge of English.
