Management in education, public administration and local government. External and internal environment of the organization and their analysis. Particular management theories. Communication. Managerial functions, roles, competencies. Culture of the organization. Change management process, its phases with regard to staff diversit . The aim of the course is to present knowledge about the management of organizations and the context of the current educational (and the school) system with the aim to apply it on the management of educational institutions.

The colloquium will be awarded for the preparation, presentation and defence of the seminar paper according to the specified structure: see the Moodle handout for details. 80% active participation in the class is required.
