Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to help students expand their awareness of current research topics and to point out the possible overlap of anthropology as a social science into various areas of life. The course consists of series of lectures by Ph.D. candidates from various institutions in the Czech Republic. The topics presented are usually connected to the topic of their dissertation. The aim is to introduce the students various approaches present in cultural anthropology and related disciplines. Most presentations will be held in English.
Students will become familiar with the wide range of topics covered in anthropology, thereby deepening their understanding of various concepts from various areas of this discipline.
Prerequisites
The course is conducted in English in the form of a discussion and therefore assumes active participation of students and a sufficient level of knowledge of a foreign language.
