You should ideally enrol in the winter semester (possibly summer semester) of your third year. The course is subject to the use of at least five foreign language sources in the preparation of the thesis. The thesis supervisor informs the programme supervisor about the fulfilment of the course requirement.
The student will be able to locate, select, critically evaluate, and correctly cite foreign-language academic sources in their own academic writing. |

The student is writing a bachelor's/master's thesis or a specialized text and is able to work with foreign-language academic literature at least at the level of text comprehension.

Student performance
Ideally, you should register for this course during the winter semester (though registration is also possible during the summer semester) of your third year. A prerequisite for course credit is the use of at least five foreign-language academic sources in the preparation of your thesis. The thesis advisor will register the course after verifying that this requirement has been met. Students are responsible for fulfilling this requirement and consulting with their thesis advisor to ensure it has been adequately met. |
